Fallout New Vegas Adventures - Total Immersion Mod

Here are some highlights and more information on the progress will fallow.

We are trying to make this mod as real as possible and the key NPC's are modeled after REAL people. (Everyone helping to make this mod will have a place IN the mod)

Cool idea Capt Mitch. Do you have any plot already developed or are you currently working with a blank slate?

 

The town or i should say city is being developed by JustinDK as we speak.

Im creating all the NPC's and writing the scripts.

 

Danielle is writing the main plot but I really need someone to write the quests. I will do it myself if need be but im stretched thin.

Once the landscape is a little more done it will give us a better idea on how to do the plot. JustinDK is very talented at what he is doing but all the locations are not in place as of yet.

What i can tell you is the Mod area is about the same size as the vanilla game :) there are multiple CITYS not so much towns but CITYS.

 

The plot is still a clean slate but will be something along the lines of a thriving town comes under attack by " " and it's up to the player to make things right...IF he/she can.

 

There will be side quests:

Main plot Save the town

Wagner Trading Co. Trade run quests

Milen Kolev Acquire technology quests (like BOS quests form Fallout 3)

 

and more

Sounds really good.

 

Any chance you could expand upon the big town idea of using the players skillsets to "reinforce" the town. For example instead of just activating robots if you have a decent science skill, maybe you have limited resources and have to decide if they will be relegated to repairing a few sentry bots, or a larger number of turrets......so that there is some strategic aspect to your decisions.

 

A high repair skill could allow you to set traps like dead falls etc, where a high explosive skill could allow you to set IED's etc.

 

Thought it might make some nice little side quests to your main theme.

Decisions will play a large part in this mod!

 

I am working on some very advanced features that will be introduced with this mod.

I learned a lot when i was making the Danielle Wagner mod which led to this mod coming about.

I do have videos of some of the ideas put into use on the Danielle Wagner Website We would love to hear more of your ideas.
