schradertre
To start off, I know there are mods out there that do a few things to the Vendors like:-Increase gold-Give them apprentices-Give them more items like arrows, soul gems, and overall more materials. This mod request is for a mod that changes the way the vendors are interacted with, cause honestly they're fairly bland. (like re-textured chests that walk around and take gold when you take an item from them) Basic Improvements:-Make it so you can order an amount of a material like in real life. If you go somewhere and the item you want isn't in stock, you could make sure the vendor has a requested item the next day, or any amount of time, you come see them for an increased price. This includes all types of vendors. -Make an investment to anyone, at any price to increase gold amount the vendor has by however much you want.-Other NPCs buy items from the vendor and are then placed in their inventory. Being the only person to have any effect on Skyrim's economy is rather pathetic and boring. -Barter items of equal or lesser value to a vendor. -Rent items More Advanced Improvements:-Order full sets or pieces of armor to by crafted by the smiths if you are two low of a level at different prices. Depending on you already having the materials required, or if they already have the materials. You could even take it a step further to have enchantments placed on them in advanced or take made armors to enchanters like in Morrowind. This isn't limited to smiths and enchanters; you could go as far as alchemist, bar tenders, and general goods vendors making custom potions, foods or other items for you.-Have smiths break down armors to basic materials and enchanters remove enchantments. -Ask random NPCs if you can barter with them on purchases they made for a cheaper price, (Used/pre-owned items) Most Advanced:-Ask vendors to make completely custom armors with custom meshes/textures. The best example I can give is from the game Spore when making a creature with multiple texture and meshing options. Each piece/mesh added would cost a certain amount of money depending of the vendor or yourself already owning an item or material to make the custom armor mesh. The meshes could be pieces form other armors or any random item, same goes for textures. If any of these are possible it would make an awesome Vendor overhaul and change the way everyone plays Skyrim!
