Axeface
I really feel like archery needs some major overhaul. Not in the form of a perk re-balance really, but in the form of a gameplay re-balance. Currently, a level 1 character with 0 skill in archery can successfully head-shot butterflies from a mile away, this really needs to change I think to a nice skill curve and perk points to improve it.At low skill levels (around 0-20) it should take 2-3 seconds to fully draw a bow, you should barely be able to move, and your shot should be very inaccurate accounting for your terrible skill with bows. Gameplay wise, In order to get better, they need to engage bad guys at close range (like a hunter would in reality... engrossing thought as you need to act like a hunter to improve, immersion), and can get off less shots before you are forced into melee. This means that someone who neglects training in archery cannot use it effectively in combat because they simply cant draw the bow without getting obliterated. Then as you raise your skill and buy into marksman you should become faster, more confident (able to move while drawing faster) and more deadly (accuracy) with bows.A player with 100 skill full marksman would enjoy fast, accurate and deadly archery. Just an idea I think would be fantastic, hope someone with the know-how thinks so too! Edited November 13, 2012 by Axeface
