weasal
just pm'd brandon68 the author and ill have a go if he doesnt mind (says so in his disclaimer), since theres a mesh and textures already, im willing to waste hours on finding a way to port oblivion to fallout. (beats drinking all the time)no guarantees my success rate tho, and if i do this will someone do a scoped assault rifle and texture? pretty plsi cant model or texture, but im a whiz bang on reverse engineering, and creating plugins to workfor the moderators i meant porting custom content only of course! Weasel_Scourge
This looks really cool (if abit off canon) I would seriously download this if it came out. And about the previous post where someone said it would have to be beaten up, that just isnt true. Maybe if you find it on a dead raider ( or dead anything for that matter) then yes it should be worn and torn. But, consider the alternative that the other guy mentioned, some of Dr. Zimmers tech from up north that he brought with him (who cares why). This would be an awesome replacement reward for turning the android in, and with 2 .esp's you could have your grungey, and your shiney (although personally I'm partial to the fallout grunge wear too). PLEASE keep us posted weasal!
weasal
well, got full permission, and have spent 2 days tearing the mesh all to bits, to the point i got all confused and had to have a drink and think about it.first problem was the different first offset fallout uses, but blender seems to have sorted that out. its starting to look possible, but something to do with texture mapping refs is giving me some grief but it looks a doable problem. if i manage ill post a "how to port" report, so i dont have to be the only one confused.yes i know its a bit uncannon, but ya think after 200 yrs of technology they would have come up with less cluncky protection? same idea anyway on powered suits, just this one is prettier. now if someone could write a self repair script, slow repairing, like 24hrs to repair fully from broken would go nicely with this, to simulate his shield recharge, not to mention an assault rifle that looks big, mean and nasty, so the master chief can make mincemeat out of those washington dc mutant freaks!

NorthwindGrey
i think if we could port from oblivion we could port Lord Slyther's BR if we had his permission
Kusumura
'porting from game-to-game, as I understand it, is pretty useless for all the effort that goes into it. Scripting requirements can vary and meshes may no longer remain usable due to skeletal changes, which basically means starting at scratch would be a much better solution. Don't look to me; I haven't done anything for TES: Oblivion nor FO3. I miss Fable Explorer. So simplistic in design that a twelve year old figured out how to use it XD. Dragarr
We have already had a few armour conversions and a male body conversion (Roberts Male Body for Fallout 3 by SickleYield) so it should be possible, we just need someone with that talent to take an interest in the armour. If someone knows a solution i can upload the armor. http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/255/masterchiefp.th.jpg Oh, dude, I love you. Unfortunately, I can't help you =(. But could you possibly upload the armor even though it's incomplete? I mean, I've seen a few mods already in production to add the MJOLNIR armor to the game, but they're all either cancelled for porting, or just taking way too damn long to release, and I'm sure me and many others much rather just have it in game right now even with it's faults and just download a future version with all the creases ironed out later (besides, how often are we gonna see the feet? =P), Oh, and by the way, +1 Kudos for you =D.
