remotecontrol
I realize I been asking alot about these two mods ... BUT... my final question is... When I put 'em both together, I like the outcome more than just either one standing alone. My only question is how do I make it so there is not so many enemies floating around in dungeons and caves ready to swarm me. When there is just one of the overhauls there is a couple... but both together... and I walk into a place where there is 2 or 3 there is now 5 or 6... combined with the higher levels that they tend to be when lounging around in gaggles together... I simply get a severe beat down  ...any way to make them fewer without losing qualities from either mod? p.s. I always thought that the word "alot" was indeed a word, as it turns out the internet doesn't think so... as it is underlined in red.
Nowena
OK remotecontrol, First, your ps, as it is easiest. A lot is two words. That's why you were getting the red line. Regarding CUO and OOO, it is a little harder to answer you. OOO specifically adds more enemies and makes them harder, from what I understand. So, it changes vanilla spawn points to fit this philosophy and adds additional spawn points for the same reason. Many people like this as it makes the game a little more difficult. CUO doesn't add additional spawn points, but it does change vanilla spawn points to make the enemies' difficulty random. That means you can run into an enemy as much as 5 or 10 levels higher than yours, or, randomly, you can run into an enemy much lower than yours. If you use both, you will find multiple examples of both instances appearing in the game. If you want less enemies, or ones that won't be quite as hard, I think it's going to require that you decide which one of overhauls' enemies you want to see and then choose the modules to fit your choice. I'm sorry. I wish I knew of a better choice for you. Nowena
remotecontrol
that makes perfect sense... and I thank you. (the mod thing... not the alot thing, that should seriously be a word) how do I choose between modules? Do you know... in the OBMM what do I un-check? Guest
Regarding cuo, there are several plugins, each which does a specific function as explained in the readme. for example, if you do not want cuo's creatures, then simply uncheck CUO_UnLeveledNPCs&Creatures.esp, this removes cuo's creatures from the leveld list. however, cuo itself does not add additional spawn points, so this will not reduce the number of enemies you face. what you are experiencing is this, cuo enemies and/or ooo enemies at vanilla spawn points and ooo enemies at ooo created spawn points. the only way to reduce the number of enemies is to remove ooo. i am not sure if ooo has an option to remove additional spawn points. also, vanilla spawn points increase in numbers as you advance levels, so an area that had a few enemies at the beginning of the game may have more at higher levels. don't know if this is maybe causing your problem rather than additional spawn points added by ooo. Nowena
Well, I don't know how you've currently got it set up in your game, but if you have left off checking the bandits or creatures mods in CUO, checking them and making sure CUO loads after OOO will cutdown the number of them - though some will still appear from bothmods. And, CUO does give a random chance that the ones you meet will be easier. (Of course, there is still the chance they will be hard, too.) Lalwende
You can also play with difficulty slider. If you use 2 overhauls it won't count as cheating ;) Try to put it at 1/3 of it's lenght. It doesn't change the level of the creatures nor the number of them but you should use less swings of your weapon or less number of spells to put them down. Hope it helps. remotecontrol
yeah, cuz by the time that one of the necromancer women died... I collected about 45 arrows from her, meaning I must have put 80 or more in there. I was using the adventuress bowset  used to kill everything in one shot in the original game set up... not no mo it don't. *goes to turn down difficulty*
Lalwende
It can be really the best option. Tell us if it worked :)
