Skinjack Posted January 13, 2020 Share Posted January 13, 2020 So I have a weapon designed. I just started, so its only the mesh so far. What I would like to do is give this an offensive and defensive weapon assignment. In its defensive mode it acts like a staff, allowing the user to hold it with one (or two) hands and maybe create a mana shield around the player. As an offensive weapon it would act like a two handed axe (or maybe sword) allowing the player to use it like the Bloodskaal Blade with its effects. I currently use an axe I made in this manner with Wizard Warrior and Tomebound to give it a wave effect when swung. I'd like to do that with this weapon as well, plus the other defensive effect. Is something like this possible, ie switching out the weapon assignment and usage? I was told it might be possible with SKSE by someone else, but I am not a programmer and would need help doing it. I don't want to waste a lot of time on the model if it can't be done. I could probably do that with Wizard Warrior, but I would probably have to switch the usage in the MCM. I want something you can just switch quickly with a hotkey or something like that. Does anyone know if this can be done, and is there anyone who would be willing to try after I am done getting the model as far as I can? This is designed primarily as a staff and I know that my design tastes are a bit unusual.
