BanjoOz
This is possible, I'm sure... I've seen and downloaded a few mods that change the interface pics (like the item description one), but when I wanted to do it myself, I noticed something odd... Using both Irfanview or the Nvidia Plugin for Photoshop, the .dds files (extracted using FOMM from the textures bsa) show up as light green "blanks"! Loading them in Photoshop or converting them with DDS Converter 2 gives me plain white images! I'd simply assume I was doing something wrong, but I have the same problem loading the same pics from mods like the Item Description one, yet OTHER .dds files load up just fine (eg weapon or creature textures). It must be something about the interface graphics... but what? And how/with what did other folks manage to edit them? Incidentally, using these extracted dds files (renamed) for a custom weapon works fine... that is, the picture may LOOK blank when I try to view/edit it outside the game, but In the game, those same "blank" pics I extracted from the bsa work as before... so it can't be something wrong with the extraction, just the editing/viewing stage!
