RockLobster86
To whoever is reading this, please tell me Im an idiot and why.. My game started crashing to desktop mid game after I installed the Skyrim Update 10 and Dawnguard. I can blissfully run about bashing rabbits with my axe for a good while but in certain locations the game ALWAYS crashes and at some locations it just crashes when it feels like it. I had a couple texture mods, SKYUI (SKSE LOADER) and ENB installed and it all worked great until I updated skyrim and skse loader. So I made a clean install without any mods or ENB to see if it would help. But no luck. The game still crashes on minimum settings. With a new save file everything works with update 11... but my save ;(.... i could try to go back to the older version but then I cant play Dawnguard and that kind of sucks! Please help!!! and/or thanks for reading Banned -DrGrimm Edited November 14, 2012 by DrGrimm
Elysarian
looks to me like you already diagnosed your problem there... you have a corrupt savegame :(

Yeah maybe Im screwed. It could be a missing mod Im hearing too but I dont know what that could be since I didnt remove any mod and this only started happening after I updated the game. demidekidasu
I've seen quite a few mods needing patches to make them compatible with Dawnguard. However, I imagine starting a new game would not work either if this is the case. I think the suggestion of corrupted save might be your problem.
