MrRed200
Hello Dragonborn, I just bought the SE-version, and modded the game. The game starts and I guess the mods work. But after 5 to 10 minutes of gameplay, the game always crashes. Is there a way to get a crash report that tells me what mod is the reason for the crash? The modlist I am using is the list of a streamer and it workes fine for him. Hope u guys can help me, so I can enjoy Skyrim again. Thanks! My modlist: https://modwat.ch/u/MrRed200/plugins

I'd suggest looking at the various modding guides on the nexus, most using mod org 2, although some cover vortex. Learn how to bash and smash those mods, load order etc. And start with fewer mods, I get a good looking playable skyrim with less than 80 mods. MrRed200
I played with mods before, but only via steam workshop. As I wrote, the streamer uses the same mods in the same priority order and it works. I use mod org 2.. Yesterday it crashed again after 10 minutes.I recognized that almost all crashes happen when I enter a city or a dungeon, so I guess there might be a conflict with a mod which loads ambiente details or some specific objects.PS. When I restart the game and then enter the city, the game doesn't crash. I already cleaned the mods via sseexit, ordered the list with LOOT and almost fixed all red and yellow signes of LOOT.As i ask for, something that gives me a kind of crash report would help. Is there something?

Is there something? From what I understand there is no crash report for skyrim se, there is papyrus logging which will indicate scripts that are being run, but it is very unlikely to give you a clue as to the cause of the ctds. Given your 270mods it is unlikely due to just 1 or 2 issues. For papyrus logging I suggest googling it and how to enable it.
anjenthedog
Yesterday it crashed again after 10 minutes.I recognized that almost all crashes happen when I enter a city or a dungeon, so I guess there might be a conflict with a mod which loads ambiente details or some specific objects.PS. When I restart the game and then enter the city, the game doesn't crash. That implies a build up of issues over time (to me), ie, you're running out of memory (video or system) or there's an overwrite of some address. Could be from a bad conversion, a contention, a poorly written or failed script(s), or simply due to wanting to do too much with too little. I have a 9700K system with 64G of primary memory, a 6G video card, and a 500G SSD (and a 5Tb harddrive, but that's for arhchiving and another OS and not germane to the game) and an average of around 240-250 installed mods. Anyway, Mine will crash sometimes when I've spent too long playing in a congested area and move to another congested area. With what I'm running on. So to me, it sounds like a finite resources issue. Afaik check the games/skryim folder in your user folder to find the error logs (ie, "bob"/Documents/My Games/Skyrim Special Edition/SKSE . They *might provide some insight. Algabar
I already cleaned the mods via sseexit, ordered the list with LOOT and almost fixed all red and yellow signes of LOOT.As i ask for, something that gives me a kind of crash report would help. Is there something? Not really. There are so-called "papyrus logs", which you can enable in your skyrim.ini file. Problem is: They were never meant to be crash logs, although a lot of people believe exactly that. In fact, they are a tool for testing and evaluating scripts. You also need to know a lot about scripting to really get useful information out of them. In short: They won't help you much. Looking at your load order, I'd also say "simply too much stuff". You got a lot of large mods, also lots of city overhauls, in addition to that audio overhaul, a lot of stuff that needs patching. Keep it simple. Build up a load order step by step. Do a lot of testing. You should also use a bashed patch from Wrye Bash. I also found two (probably rather minor) errors- Obsidian and True STorms need a patch.- You installed the .esp plugins from Amidianborn Book of Silence. You shouldn't do that. These are "Oldrim" files. Using the Amidianborn textures in SE is perfectly alright, but you should delete the .esp plugins (or convert them to SE format with the Creation Kit).I doubt these errors are the reason for your crashes though. MrRed200
First things first:Thanks a lot for your answers! Do you use wyre bash?It is not as simple as installing in the same priority order as the streamer I actually don't have a clue what it is :confused:But I will check this when I'm home. I would suggest looking up some of modding guides on the nexus, since they are good at explaining not just the order to mod the game but how to patch and bash the game into some kind of stable running order. I will definitly do that. I tried to go the easy way to just take the same mods in the same order like Gronkh (the streamer) but now I see that's not that easy  From what I understand there is no crash report for skyrim se, there is papyrus logging which will indicate scripts that are being run, but it is very unlikely to give you a clue as to the cause of the ctds. That implies a build up of issues over time (to me), ie, you're running out of memory (video or system) That was the first thing what came in my mind and I checked this. My GPU, RAM and CPU are not overloaded, they work very relaxed. Afaik check the games/skryim folder in your user folder to find the error logs (ie, "bob"/Documents/My Games/Skyrim Special Edition/SKSE . They *might provide some insight. I will do that, thank you! I also found two (probably rather minor) errors- Obsidian and True STorms need a patch.- You installed the .esp plugins from Amidianborn Book of Silence. You shouldn't do that. Alright, that will be the first thing I'll check and change. Maybe I'm lucky and this will fix it. Now I have a lot of stuff to check, try and change. If nothing helped I will go to implementate the mods step by step to avoid issues. Thanks again and I will keep up to date!
