ShadowTheWiseman
Yeah, I tried that first as well. Then I tried a manual install. It gave me a CTD. So I've been playing without it. But a lot has been problematic because I don't have it. Including my own mod I was working on -.-' Edited January 23, 2020 by ShadowTheWiseman
StormWolf01
Yeah, I hear you there. I know that a lot of people aren't happy about AWKCR, and the fact that they won't release a version that is DLC independant. I haven't really had any problems with it, since DLing the version from bethesda but then, I haven't updated it since then, either.I figure, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. (And chance it breaking).I'll go ahead and ask. What version of the game are you using? Do you know what version of awkcr you have?
ShadowTheWiseman
I got the latest AWKCR 8.6. It says when downloading that Vortex borks the install so to install it manually if it does. Which I did. But it still CTD when active.
StormWolf01
Ok, latest version there. Did your game update to the most recent version of .163? [Edit] Ok, so I just downloaded and extracted the latest version of AWKCR. Here's the really big things that I noticed. 1) Everything is stored inside a folder that is named Fomod.2) Some of the additional plugins are located inside of subfolders, that are not labled as Data folder. When you installed this, did you go through each of the folders, going down into the subdirectories, and putting those files (not the folders) that have .esp files andba / ba2 files in them, into the Data folder where all the esp's are supposed to go? Or did you just copy the folders into the Data folder? 3) Many of those subfolders are patches. So the ones that you don't have mods for, do not go into your data folder. Double check that, to make sure that you don't have any patch files for mods that you don't have. Edited January 26, 2020 by StormWolf01
