horouboi Posted November 15, 2012 Share Posted November 15, 2012 ok, so i'm playing dawnguard and come to the part where i must inthrall the moth priest (vampire side) well i can't seem to inthrall him so i do a console command, setstage dlc1vq03vampire 70 and this makes him my thrall, all good and now? well it appears he still hates all vampires and when he gets to the castle everyone hate him and trys to kill him over and over and over.... so is there a console command or something i can do to either continue the story or just make him not get attacked. i really would like to continue my dawnguard story lol ps: for some reason Harkon won't talk about my victory of getting the priest either :'( Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
RozenDoll Posted November 15, 2012 Share Posted November 15, 2012 Being unable to enthrall is a known problem with custom races going vampire lord. Did you use the Vampire Seduction spell on him?The problem of him attacking/being attacked is mostlikely caused by him not being added to the proper faction, which should happen when you legitimately enthrall him. ginnyfizz Posted November 15, 2012 Share Posted November 15, 2012 What custom race are you using? If you use a race based on Racial Compatibility for Dawnguard, you should be OK. RozenDoll Posted November 16, 2012 Share Posted November 16, 2012 Alternate Start is fine as it doesn't affect Races itself. I'd bet my collection of centurion cores that it's these "vampire races" that's causing trouble for you.Otherwise you could try to find a compatibility mod, or try to reload a savefile before entering the cave.
