Chinese Faction extenstion

I had a thought other day. Since it is apparent that the Chinese had a Special Operations Unit active in DC in the Great War era, why not expand them just like the Enclave?

 

I mean the American government and its people in power survived and is still operational, why not the Chinese? Surely they had prepared for a nuclear war and some remnants of the Communist government would've survived.

 

So this is my idea for a new faction and another opposing faction. Oh that and I heard the Chinese language in this game is totally broken and weird. :P

 

Chinese People's Council (Renminlishhui) "人民評議會"

Extension of the Chinese Remnant Army present in DC area. Chinese version of the Enclave. Their main motivation is of course the infiltration of the Capitol Wasteland and collection of advanced American technology.

Gives out quests to collect Mini-Nukes, Power Armors and so on. Will often task the player to 'cleanse' remaining Remnant Chinese Commandos present in DC who have long since became ghouls and abandoned by their own comrades.

Reasonably well equipped and supplied. Has a unique technology called "Hei-Gui" Armor. (From 'Van Buren')

Represented by Captain Xiao, Commander of Chinese Special Operations Unit and his Adjutant, Lieutenant Yuen.

Players who are not Asians will not be easily trusted.

 

North Koreans

Sub-group of the People's Council.

 

The Baek-Ho Resistance (White Tiger in Korean language) "백호 저항군"

Korean immigrants and many others in DC area who have banded themselves together to oppose the Chinese in America. Holds deep grudge against China. (Korea is supposed to be taken over by China during/before the Great War just like USA annexed Canada)

They are in direct opposition to the People's Council and will fire at people who are allied with them without hesitation on sight.

Any people who oppose the People's Council is welcomed to join in the Resistance, although they don't trust outsiders that much.

They are not that strong and often short on supply, but their Guerrilla Warfare works reasonably well.

Represented by Ji-Woo, Han, Commander of the Resistance.

Gives out quests to infiltrate Chinese Outposts in DC area and sabotaging their operations. Will often task the player to assassinate important figures of the Council.

 

Detailed storyline/quests list of new unique items, list of new NPCs will be here soon as well!

 

So what do you guys think about this? I am actually planning on creating this mod with Chinese/Korean voice actors and so on.

The idea sounds great, that almost sounds like a whole expansion. im no modder so correct me if im wrong, but dont think the kind of changes you are talking about are possible at the moment.

Yes, I am planning on working on this. Not all by myself, it would be great to get some help. :)

 

And I am aware that a CS is not available at the moment.
