Hello all great mod is the elder council mod well worth it

Just having troubles I have read the info on the mod download page for the site and just need more info on how to get promoted. I did a few journeys to the different towns and i got promoted once. How and what do I do now to get promoted again. I think I also may be missing a town that the mod talks about as it is not showing active on my map.

 

Any ideas and has anyone played and progressed in this mod.

Hello AMSTEIN!

 

The promotion isn't very fast within Legion. You cannot become captain after few patrol, can you? And it's also very important that you don't cheat during those patrols. I mean do you have all pieces of legion uniform on you?

 

You can do some Rat Infestation quests as well :)

There is a town mentioned in the mod - Arenthia -

that is handled like various non-city places in Oblivion.

In other words, Arenthia's location is not placed on the

map immediately.

 

You can "find" it (and afterwhich it will remain on your

map for fast travel), or at a point in the quests, the marker

will be given to you by a quest giver.

 

If you don't want to wait for the quest, think "Valenwood" for

attempts to find it. (No, you don't need to open the borders.)

 

Also, you can get nobility points which allow for a non-legion

promotion by doing many of the vanilla quests. These points

don't raise your level in the legion, but they will count for your rise

toward Duke. (Legion duties will also give nobility points.)
