XeroDivideERR
I have tried everything. I have been reading on this and trying things for 2 days now and I've got nothing. I have tried running as admin and checking the boxes for all the shell extensions since there isnt just one box, I edited system32/drivers/etc/(somefileidontrememberthenameof) did the cut and paste into it perfectly from the reddit article, closed and opened NMM, made sure its the latest and greatest several times 0.71 yada yada. And yes I know not to install my games the normal way windows likes to. I use a seperate HD for all my steam games that is just dedicated to them. I just CANT FOR THE LIFE OF ME get this MCM to install. It just will not stop giving me this error. Im at my wits end.
dubiousintent
Hmm. Let's try breaking down those error messages. The top line is merely the ultimate straw in the chain of events that failed. It's saying a request to the Windows system to set a permission with a public token key was denied. That sounds very much like the most recent Microsoft Crypto bug that was just patched. Have you applied that update? If so, then it may be something the NMM team still has yet to address. The next lines below that (in the "Server Stack Trace") are the progression of API calls that eventually get back to the "Nexus Client". I suppose that to be NMM, but as I don't use it myself I'm not sure. (BTW: The latest NMM on GitHub is 0.71.1.) I don't see anything in the error log that points to MCM itself at all. As it is a NVSE Plugin, try manually installing. Do see the "HUD-UI-Menu issues" wiki article. -Dubious-
