tamaneko
What are the chances that could happen? I still can't understand why you can't even fly one in the first place. The in-game AI clearly does, you can see them flying them all over the place even in some random encounters, landing and unloading enclave soldiers, and they even have a gatling laser on them! Tommo120
The events in which you see them are probably mostly scripted sequences. Meaning that the AI are not technically piloting them, they are just going where they are told to go. Also, this would not fit in very well with the rest of the game play mechanics. That is ignoring the fact that this would almost certainly be very difficult to implement, even with the Construction Set.
makarov
true but what if there was an extremely talented modder hiding somewhere who would be willing to tackle the job and what if they added other behicles too i mean oblivion had horses so why can't fallout have drivable stuff
Bean0
One forseeable problem is that you'd be flying along over Downtown and you'd crash outside the designated areas where you can normally go. There's nothing there and no way of getting out, it kind of looks like a glitch.
SpacemanSpIiff
Keep in mind that fallout was literally built off oblivion, So unless bethesda seriously re makes the mount system, all those cars youd be driving in fallout would be horses, except modelled as cars.
