coldsosolol
The idea for the mod is the option to pick one or more restriction that will persist through entire playthrough akin to Daggefall's special disadvantages. Have you ever wanted to play completely without utilizing stealth and bow combo but couldn't restrain from starting with that when you met a difficult fight? Or when you decide to use only the specific armor or a weapon but couldn't restrain after finding a nice good looking piece in a dungeon? Restrictions will help with keeping up to your roleplay choices, these are obviously not for everyone but if you want to roleplay a class or a specific idea for a character, or take a difficulty challenge then you wouldn't be able to cheese and make immersion breaking exceptions, forcing you to stick to your decisions. The specific restrictions I have in mind are:-Forbidden material type-Forbidden armor type-Forbidden armor/type slot (for example can wear heavy armor without gauntlets and boots, but still can wear light or cloth in that slots, or no headgear at all)-Forbidden weapon type (for example dagger only character)-Exclusive sword and board, two handed or dual wield style, with optional bow-Forbidden magic schools-Disabled skills (stealth, magic, weapons, alchemy)-Unable to pickup owned items - literally cannot steal anything Further expanding to that would be full implementation of Daggerfall special advantages and disadvantages system, with or without point system: you restrain from something but receive advantages in other spheres, play with difficulty increasing mods and create challenges for yourself, roleplay a type of character, pick a "class" and play it
Zebsi
Not exactly what you're asking for, but I've been messing around in the Creation Kit making a trait mod, although it's more akin to Fallout: New Vegas' implementation than Daggerfall's. There's not going to be any kind of restrictions like you want, as that's tacky, pointless (dude you're literally already in control of what you do in the game), and potentially impossible, but you can choose up to two traits, and each one comes with a bonus and a malus. For example, you have the Trait, Masochist, which gives you constant passive Health regeneration, but also increases the damage you take from every source. Or Pacifist, which makes non-combat skills more effective, but combat skills less effective. It'll be a minute, as I'm still not wholly satisfied with it, but yeah
