Deleted919650User
I'm having a very serious problem that I cannot figure out on my own! Any time I try to begin a new game, I'm met with a black screen with the standard HUD! I cannot move, I cannot do anything, and no matter how long I wait the game will not take me to the birthing scene! I've exhausted everything I could think of, even including redownloading the game from Steam (Purchased via Steam direct download, not wares)!I've scrubbed it clean of every mod I had installed, backed up an deleted all previous saves, and generally started with a clean slate, but I cannot start a new game no matter what I try! Please, somebody help me with this.

gandalftw
That is odd. When you uninstalled it did you go to program files and make sure that everything was deleted? Also if it were me i would delete any remaining registry entries left after uninstalling.I don't KNOW if that's the problem but that's usually my routine. Ccleaner is free and can be found here:CCLEANER It also can clean all kinds of garbage left from surfing and temp files, index entries, chk files. It will back up your registry as well.If you install it i would clear the yahoo toolbar installation box for it can cause some anti spy-ware programs to mistakenly alert to it as a form of spy-ware.Hope you get it figured out.
