Curious002
I downloaded "Elves of Lineage II" and while the graphics are very beautiful, I found the settings for the races themselves are more than only a little disappointing. So I went forward and changed the attributes and skills to something that was much closer to my own ideas (and to what elves where in L2, in my opinion - matriarchal, i.e. women get more of willpower/personality/intelligence, and the skills should be different too, etc). However, I ran into 2 problems: - When I load both my fixup module and the original module, I get warning messages that both modules contain the same races (unsurprisingly) - and end up with 2 instances of these new races in the corresponding dialogue ! - I cannot edit the special abilities at all - the only option I get there is "delete". Anyone has an idea what to do ?

Anyone has an idea what to do ? Are you using the Construction Set to edit them?To begin, I would say you only need to load one .ESP (the "home improved" one). I don't have the module installed, so I'm making an educated guess here: first off, I suppose you switched on "Make Active" for your editing purposes. Check under the race menu again, it might just be a tricky setup. Also, if you're running under Vista look up the usual suspects: UAC, permissions, and so on. Curious002
Ok thank you, I will try to only load my own module then. I use the CS of Shivering Islands, I have my own module selected being active, and I use XP.

Curious002
... but cannot get the separate mod to work at all. The eyes are out of order, for example. And the game itself still treats them as 2 separate races.
