leotheEliteMajor117
A'ight, after a year of giving my FNV mods, I've never used Wyre Flash because, well, let's just say, I didn't needed it because I thought it was the same as FNVEdit's merged patch when creating a Bashed patch from Wyre Flash. But now, having think of it, I'm gonna need a bashed patch just in case things go awfully bad for my FNV playthrough. Can anyone help me how to use Wyre Flash? I'm a newbie to that program, I installed it since last december and dunno where to start. Edited January 26, 2020 by LabroLEO
dubiousintent
Please see the section on "Wrye Flash" in the "Mod Managers" portion of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article. It lists several resources I highly recommend. (I have used it extensively for many years now.) I can probably answer anything not covered there, but those articles cover more than a quick reply here will convey. Note that "Wrye Flash NV" is a fork of "Wrye Bash" based upon the last "29x" series version prior to the current "refactored" 300 series. This means it is fully functional and still receives some limited support, but does not follow the changes make to the current version of "Wrye Bash". For building a "Bash Patch" I find "Flash" to still be preferable. It is possible to use both "Flash" and "Bash" together for different things, but that is not recommended for those new to either. Do not get the two confused. Check out the description for "Flash" carefully. -Dubious-
