Calling If function through Dialogue Result Script?

The main quest for a mod I'm working on uses the same dialogue choice throughout the quest, it also repeats certain lines throughout the quest, too.

 

So, is it possible to call the If GetStage function in the dialogue Result Script? CS is saving it fine, however once in-game nothing happens. Or, do I have to use a separate response for every time I need the line repeated?
