No steam, no game.yes, ive tried launching via steam instead of nmm. im able to press play on the splash page that pops up. the "stop" button on steam turns back into "play" after a few seconds :/ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
anjenthedog Posted January 28, 2020 Share Posted January 28, 2020 What I meant is that steam has to be active to play the game, regardless of how you actually start it, be that the vanilla game, or using SKSE via a shortcut to SKSE on your desktop, or some configured button in a mod manager that either launches the vanilla game or the SKSE'd game Personally I launch Skyrim SE using SKSE from a dekstop shortcut. It is *one way of testing, even if you normally use different method for launching skyrim.
