"Wasteland Remnent" armour

I had a nice idea recently... loosely inspired by the "Wasteland Soldier" armour mod... My idea is basically an Enclave Variant, based on the Enclave officer uniform and hat, but worn-out and patched and modified with other armour parts...

 

The existing colour might be a decent start, just dull it down, wash it out and just generally make it look 'blotchy'. Same for the hat... As for other armour items...

 

For the hat is was thinking that just adding some goggles (motorbike style) might be enough... With the hat suitably weathered it probably wouldn't actually need much more 'ornamentation' than that... But I'm certainly open to suggestion (and mesher input since I can't really do it myself - hence this thread).

 

For the armour itself, I was thinking of taking the 'cloak' from the NCR 'mantle' armour for starters, and having that over the top of a combat armour chest-piece (no shoulder pads), A few bag-belt type add-ons and the like and a suitably 'worn' texture across the lot... As for the legs, I was thinking of leaving them pretty basic... Patched knees (knee-pads from the armoured vault suit?), an extra belt or two for pouches, tools, water-flask, etc... The boots would either be standard enclave officer boots or combat armour boots. But like the torso, the whole loot would look heavily weathered regardless...

 

The whole look needs to look like it belong(s/ed) to some enclave remnant type who got separated from other like him, and has had too eek out a lonely existence, traveling the wastes, never hanging around for long lest the NCR track him down... The fact that the old uniform is kept at all is because this is someone who is desperately holding on to the memory of a better past, when the enclave was strong and he could enjoy the benifits of the Authority that that strength gave him...
