thehookshot
Hey everyone. I've done my diligence trying to troubleshoot this on my own (uninstalled, moved directories, etc.) but for some reason I'm able to get some mods to work and not others. http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mdqijrNNny1qb762go1_1280.jpg In the image above I have no problem seeing the "Sexy Whiterun" Mod, grass enhancer, or other graphic mods, but Dawnguard, "Rayeks End" and other content mods seem to not work at all. On figure 2, after I launch Skyrim and open up NMM, all are unclicked except Skyrim.esm and Update.esm. Don't know if this has anything to do with it. I'm running Windows 7 and 1.77 Skyrim. Any thoughts on a solution?? - John
Trucidation
If Dawnguard.esm is not ticked, you will not get it in the game. It looks ticked there in your Figure 2 though, so I don't know why you're not seeing it in the game. You are at least level 10, and have heard guards talking about the Dawnguard, yes? When I launch the game, I don't have NMM running. I just use NMM to load and activate mods, then I close it.

Thanks Trucidation, Yeah, I make sure they are all clicked, and NMM shuts down upon loading the game, but no luck on any mods that are clicked. The only mods that seem to work dont even appear on the "plugins" page. Is there a difference between "Mods" and "plugins"? on the tabs? Yeah I made sure I was level 10 before checking Dawnguard. No idea why this is happening..
thehookshot
Well I figured out Dawngaurd. The reason the plugins never stayed clicked when I re-entered DMM is because the "Data" option in the Skyrim launcher was greyed out. I went into the skyrimpref.ini under mygames in documents and added: [Launcher] bShowAllResolutions=1 uLastAspectRatio=3 bEnableFileSelection=1 This seemed to do the trick for Dawnguard. Just got approached in one of the cities. Except the add-on homes (various plugins) still dont seem to show. and the water plugin seems to not do much. Will have to look into these further. Trucidation
I forget about adding "bEnableFileSelection=1", I always assumed everyone knew, heh. Still, NMM shouldn't be unloading your mods, assuming you have them activated and no longer use the SkyrimLauncher.
Grimoa
Skyrim 1.7 can't load mods made with CK 1.8If the mod was uploaded /updated since November that's probably the cause. You can try updating Skyrim to 1.
