Once More unto the Breach

Project Hideaway is finally at what I'd consider a 'release' state (Yeah, I published too early, but I was seriously starting to feel like it would NEVER be published if I didn't do it RIGHT THE HECK NOW).

 

V 0.6 BETA has enough features and fixes implemented that I feel good about it, and now I'm about to embark on an adventure. A full-game test with various mods installed which have caught my interest. So I'll be adventuring off into the wasteland again after getting shot in the head. I'll be running DARC: PH, of course, alongside the following:

 

- All official DLCs

- Project Mikoto: Beauty Pack Plus

- A World of Pain

- New Vegas Bounties I

- New Vegas Bounties II

- Willow - A Better Companion Experience

- Centered 3rd Person Camera

- FNV Project Reality MkI

First Impressions: New Vegas Medical Clinic/DARC PH run, Goodsprings

 

Project Mikoto's Beauty Pack made Character Creation take significant;y longer, but in the end, I didn't use any of it. Amusing but there you are. The work is gorgeous, but none of it really fit my 'headcanon' for Angelina, who's badassed but still feminine. I should have liked a long braid or a ponytail with short bangs or something like. Ah well, it is what it is.

 

I open my FNV games these days with a run to the NVMC and PH to get my Intelligence implant ASAP, preferably before level 2. None of the mods I'm using interfered with it all that much, which is good.

 

I think I'm in love with Project Reality.

 

Goodsprings has so much more to do now! I like it.

 

The only mod I've really gotten involved with thus far is A World of Pain, which is... Well. The level design is inspired, truly awesome. But on my computer, the interiors badly need an optimization pass. Framerates dipped to the teens in the Cigarette Factory. I may see if I can improve this after DARC is done. Avaunt! I must go slay things.
