Vargre
I dont know if its even possible, but Im sure youve all noticed that when you take a leg from a mech, it hobbles for a moment and then its right back up to normal speed. While when YOU lose a leg, you gimp a long properly. If there is any way to fix it so that shooting a leg from an enemy mech actually means something, could someone please make it? I really dont understand the thought process behind why the devs did this, and they must have done it intentionally because there has been no fix in any of the patches. Anyhow, if anyone can do it, that would be awesome, and as an artist, ill send you a custom made skull, airbrushed, made from acrylic. I sell them for between 100-500$ depending on what it is. Ill add a pic so you can see what im talking about.

Bunyan55
I know this is an old post, but I'm posting this answer for the sake of others like me who had the exact same question.Limp Galore (https://www.nexusmods.com/mechwarrior5mercenaries/mods/84) does exactly this, and I can confirm that it works, and it works with the current MW5 version (1.0.253). For some reason it isn't currently among the mods on EGS, but the Nexus version works just fine even mixed with mods on EGS. Credit goes to this list that led me to Limp Galore, and that list in turn also credits this list. One in particular that improved the game for me is the TTRulez Real Warzone Spawn mod (also available on EGS), which makes the enemy spawns on e.g. demolition missions to be less insane, while still preserving difficulty. I don't know if MercTech (the mod TANSTAAFL666 above linked to) does the same, I haven't tried to confirm it yet. For what its worth, both of the above lists recommend MercTech. MercTech does seem to make a lot of hardcore changes, I just wanted leg damage to work as it should
