KnightRangersGuild
I finally bought Hearthfire and I need to make my Breesehome mod compatible and I'm just not sure on how to do this. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Jennifur68
I had to uninstall my Breezehome mods after getting Hearthfire because of crashes to desktop when I tried to enter it. The problem is both the mod and Hearthfire can modify the house since you get the option to ask the Stewart to replace the alchemy table with childrens beds. I suggest disabling Hearthfire, loading Skyrim and removing anything you have in the mod room(s) storing them in the chest upstairs, save, quit Skyrim. Then disable the home mod(s), reenable Hearthfire and load your game...yes you loose all your cool Breezehome mods but the odds are you probably won't use it as much now anyway. My main house now is Heljarchen Hall because of its central location and short travel time to many places and lots of chest so I can sort my stuff. Yes, I really do "need" a chest full of alchemy ingredients...oh and one for potions...and one for armor...and...ok so I tend to hoard a thing or two...maybe. KnightRangersGuild
Never mind on this post! Apparently all my Breezehomes mods ARE compatible with Hearthfires, I bought Hearthfires and it works fine for me and I have over 180 mods! I only thought it was not compatible because just a few people were having issues! I guess I should have done my own investigating. I have thoroughly tested my Breezehome mods with Hearthfires and all is good except when you change the child's room which is an alchemy room in my mod but no biggy just some clipping which you can disable what you want in game using the console so no problem there ether but thanks for your help. Here are my mods again and are all compatible with Hearthfires!!! http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/26590 and http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/23317 and http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/23415 these Breezehome mods are all compatible with Hearthfires!
