You obviously have internet access, if you want to see porn. It makes no sense for ppl to be naked under their armor. So why?

It saddens me greatly that so many people in this country assume that asking questions is seen as being judgmental, or whatever (but that's a little OT, so nevermind.)

I downloaded a nude patch which gets rid of underwear when all clothes are removed. I feel it's a bit too graphic, and as another poster already said, am looking forward to a bit more tasteful "nude mod" where characters are wearing only low-profile bottoms and no top. I've got to agree that having a shirt magically pop into place upon removing skimpy clothes such as the Pain Spike armor totally trashes the immersion.

 

Whatever the OP's intentions for wanting the mod are don't really matter. I agree that we could use a bit more variety in these mods, so we can choose one that adheres to our personal tastes a bit more. Whether the guy wants it for added realism/immersion, laughs, or simply to make his character "sexy" isn't our concern.

If people want this for the realism there shouldn't be so many nude mods where the women have brazilian wax-jobs and the men either have no hair or neatly trimmed bushes. This is a post-nuclear wasteland with remnants of 50's culture. If I'm gonna download any nude mods, it'll have to have hairy genitalia and preferably chest-hair for the men to go along with the beards. before I see that, I won't believe anyone who says they made their nude-mod for realism's sake.

EDIT: Other conditions I have for the realistic nude-mod is nude ghouls of both sexes, even though that'll make a lot of people not want to loot armor from ghouls... Heck that just adds even more to the realism... if I were in the wasteland I sure as hell wouldn't want to wear anything a ghoul had worn before me.

I'm pretty sure those EDIT: tasteful nude mods were very few and far between, and since when has the option for "insanely large chest sizes" been anything but tasteless? Did exnems nude mod include naked male orks? If not isn't that kind of sexist/racist? And on top of that, even more tasteless?

And just one more question. When you then have 2 or 3 good looking nude mods ranging between more and less realistic and there is the needed variety, why then would there be any reason at all to have the typically around 67 other nude mods?

I think the amount of nude mods already available for Fallout 3 is tasteless in and of itself.

Again I say that I have nothing against a nude mod made for the sake of adding realism... but I haven't seen one nude mod so far that wasn't made made for any other reason than to turn a game into soft-core porn. And that irks me.

well the original exems mod was a naked version of the vanilla body. the insanely large chest size was never my favourite, i personally think that the bethesda guys made the vanilla body way to busty, i always used a smaller version. (but thats just me)

 

exnem spent a great deal of time and effort to create what he did, same as the creator of robert's mod which does include naked orc's ( same as exems did cover the female orc body). to expect one person to create two amazing bodies is a bit of a big ask of someone who does not get paid for his work.

 

and teseyecandy has a rather large following of men and especially women of all ages who created some amazing clothing, apachii being the first name to come to mind (who is a lady, and created apachii's godess shop - simply amazing is all i can say, clothing for women by women)

 

i think it all comes down to how mature you are. if you went to a art gallery and complained that you hadn't seen one naked statue that wasn't made as a disguise for soft-core porn you would be laughed at.

Meh, Its simple why there are so many different nude versions. Different people think differently of beauty. I perfer small, perky butts with normal breasts. Some nude versions had girls with wayy to much junk in the trunk for my preference.

 

Say what you will about realism and all that, its fine and dandy. But personally, if I am going to be staring at someones ass all day, it better be a womans, and it better be hot.

What I mean is that all the nude mods I've seen don't add any realism, they just add nudity. And that's mostly the kind of nudity that doesn't fit with the game setting, first of all what do all these women shave their genitals with? Combat knives and long-swords? Why the heck would they even shave themselves in the first place? I can see why the different elven characters would lack pubic hair since they already lack the facial- and chest-hair of other races. But when all the human naked bodies are the same as the elven ones but with different skin color, nobody should be able to say that any amount of the work that went into the mod was for realism's sake. I deeply respect all the modders that put manhours, sweat and blood into their mods, but saying that any of the nude mods are there to add realism is just lying to yourself.

The nude statues in art galleries are all made to accurately depict the beauty of the human body and they all have realistic proportions. Sure, they might have been meant as those ancient times' version of soft-porn, but at least the artists put work into the realism of the piece.

By the time someone makes a Fallout 3 nude mod that let's you see realistic female AND male bodies WITH the pubic hair it would make sense for them to have, along with naked ghoul female AND male bodies complete with burnt and decomposing genitalia, I would be damn sure to get that mod as soon my internet connection would allow me to, because that would be a nude mod made for realism's sake... and not just yet another nude mod to let you see boobies and butt-cheeks in whatever flavor you may prefer.
