saxafish
Is this still the case? Manual updates only? If so, that's terrible. Even I have made better mod managers than that...You wouldn't want it to auto-update. Often times new features are added to mods that you don't even want...or worse an update could conflict with another mod you have installed. If you update one at a time and play you can be aware of the changes in advance and also know which mod update is causing an issue.

Mhyth
Will a mod still work if you didn't update it?It 'might'. Many do, especially if the mod only changes graphical appearances - though with some the game itself may not load or will crash once loaded when certain mods are out of date or conflict with a developer game update. I'd very much like an 'update mod' button that automates most of the steps and even allows you to queue up multiple mods to update without having to be physically at your computer doing each step and each mod one by one. A Kickstarter campaign or on-site crowd funding campaign for such a feature would likely be hugely popular.

wheelguy67
It's been a while since I've played Skyrim and I forgot how the Mod Manager works. How exactly do you update outdated mods? Simple... Deactivate the outdated on NMM.Download the new version.Activate it on NMM.Delete old version... KetActually, you may not need to delete old version. I downloaded an update for a mod and deleted old version and messed it up. Reason is the new download was an Update Only. So make sure before you delete old version. Jaysus Swords, for example - the newest version is only an update patch for the previous version. You need both of them.
