Bodyslide Physics build option?

With physics allows bounce to trickle through. (afaik as long as you make sure to check the build morphs checkbox). If you choose the non physics version, you won't get any.

what should you choose? that's your choice, not mine. Heck, I don't even use batch build, just one-offs when they please me.

My understanding is this. With physics, many clothing/armor items (although I can't say with certainty "all") will move with player movement when CBP is active.

Example: a female wearing a physics enabled piece of armor or clothing will bounce in the breast area with physics enabled as she walks. Without it, the clothing will not move when she does, ie, it won't bounce up and down. AFAIK, it presumes that you are applying these items to a physics enabled body, but tbh I'm not sure. I always apply them to enabled bodies.

For CBBE there are three basic choices

CBBE (static, no physics...breasts and butt are like rocks and never move)

CBBE physics (movement of breast and butt is enabled)

CBBE special (a special case of the physics body with additional features for adult content)

As well, there is also 3BBB, which introduces additional "bouncy points" for the belly

and 3BBB Advanced which has even more features and bouncy points

And BHUNP which is the UNP variant on 3BBB advanced (I find it most useful for updating older UNP based followers, although it requires a bit more experience than the average newb has to be useful, unless of course you chose to have a UNP based player (I have a CBBE based player, so no, I don't know how to do that, just in case the question is forming in your mind to ask), in which case it should act just like CBBE bodyslide work. (you would require UNP textures installed...I don't have those and only use the built meshes to apply to followers and use there existing textures)

All three of the additional body types I note above have their own extra types. Static, physics, and other special variants. You can find out more by visiting their respective mod pages, If of course, you're interested.

For now though let's stick with CBBE to make the process a bit simpler.

PS> Not sure off hand for male characters, since although I do have a male player vector (I have a female and a separate male vector), I really don't pay too much attention to how he moves. He's still a stock UNP character with only some minor improvements to his face via racemenu adjustments. He also only wears stock (vanilla) armor/clothing. I've never fitted anything for him.

Here's what I'd suggest, so that you viscerally understand the difference: Give each a try (ie CBBE and CBBE Physics) and see for yourself. That's what I did. If nothing else, it gives you a little experience using bodyslide, a skill you'll need down the road for fitting clothing and armor or customizing presets for your character ..or for replicating ported LE followers and companions to update their bodies to the newer variants with more features, or for that matter any follower, UNP or otherwise, that doesn't come with a bodyslide XML spec.

If you're creating a female character and want the bounce, make sure you have Sinful CBP or similar for deriving the bounce. (if you happen to have any technical background, Sinful CBP appears to be either a proportional Integral - PI - or Proportional integral differential - PID - controler)

And FNIS Sexy Moves is a nice addon mod for altering her walk to give it a more feminine gate. fwiw...

edited for typos and content. Sorry for the length. I have a bad tendency to ramble on. For some it's TMI. For others it's a bonus and saves them having to ask a dozen more followup questions over days or weeks to clarify the mumbo jumbo.
