antstubell
So here I sit waiting for my 16gb of DDR3 to arrive (should have been today, sold all my current memory in that machine) on my other system. No CK on this machine, can't be bothered especially when I have a huge mod in progress on the 2nd, just Skyrim in its "Pure" state. Two or Three mods nothing else. So I decide to do something I haven't doen for months. I play Skyrim! Yep you know what I mean, 2-10hrs of making that object, retexturing that armour, scripting that event, shouting "WHY THE **** DON'T IT WORK!" abd then 2 minutes in game to test and back to CK. SO I load up a character and play like a normal "punter". Do some quests left over from God knows when and I find myself saying "I don't remember seeing that before. I wonder how that is setup, that's what I had in mind for xxxxxxxx but didn't know how to do it and here it is in the game and many other questions. I picked up a pen and started taking notes. In 1 day of being memory-less for my modding machine, I have filled 2 sheets of paper with ideas. Scoured the downloads here and found some good stuff I will implement. It's so easy to get so "into" your mod, stick with an idea, spend hours endlessly trying to make it work and the answer could already be right in front of you. You just have to go back to being a game release day consumer and remember when you strolled around Skyrim and said "Awesome." P.S. "Amazon! Where's my flippin; RAM?"
