Poor Wizzard's Tower; Any Suggestions?

I am building my first real mod right now. It is a small but elaborate tower designed for the mage who is of humble origins and doesn't want to associate with the snobs of the guild. I also am making it to fit the basic oblivion package without any official addons. I based the interior and exterior off of the 'ChorrolFGTower' so it is probably the smallest mage tower out there, but I managed to give it 5 floors on that single interior! I just need some suggestions on what to make the second floor used for or anything else. Keep in mind I am only a beginning modder and have no scripting abilities as of yet. Here's ehat I have so far:

-1st floor: Storage. Lots of boxes and barrels

-2nd floor: undecided. open to suggestions

-3rd: kitchen and alchemy lab. fireplace, cupboards, food barrel, alchemy tools.

-4th: Library. Lots of bookshelves with some rare books (can be used as display spaces), desk, 2 chairs

-5th: Workroom. Bed, altars of spells and enchanting, chests, cubbords, display shelves and racks, hanging welkynd holder

The tower also features a wraparound balcony with views of the nearby waterfront where you can mingle with all the other beggars and lowlifes of your ilk, a functioning necromancer's altar, scenic hilltop getaway covered with alchemical plants selected for beauty and creation of deadly multi-effect poisons, respawning *pegmatites* and *kimberlites* (gem and diamond bearing rocks), and a few hidden chambers with some loot. All I need is Robin Scott's permission since I used part of his rowboats mod to give the tower a working rowboat.

Anyways, I am looking for suggestions of anything else I may be able to add that would suit any of you good people. Please let me know. I would upload some pictures if I could make sense of 7zip.

For one, I like making the necromancer alters require the "if ( MGNecroAnchorites.Halo == 1 )" condition. I also like to add either particle effects (enable/disable a mage teleportal pad inside the alter mesh) or to make the light beam.

This sounds like my kind of mod. I would like to see more display cases in mods. You could put display cases and spellmaking/enchanting alters in the empty floor. It is a good space killer and can serve as a trophy room for downloaders. I have a mod called Summon Potion Station. It has a station you can make custom summon creature potions. You can modify the script and use it in your mod if you like, just credit me in the readme. I can help you to add it if you like.

Other ideas I like are:

Landing pads for flying mounts

any animated meshes (torture devices, magical looking crystals, anything with particle effects)

Glowing meshes

zero weight poison station (make zero weight poisons to slip into people's inventory)

invisible portals to more rooms (walk through the wall right there --->)

pet companion rat (respawns at home)

quest to loot and destroy mage's guild items (kill the coffers from within)

floating gardens (look at the circles I use in Castle Tharnstein, all meshes are modder's resource)

I love the summon atronach station in Frostcrag reborn. Maybe something like that with non-daedric creatures (rat, boar, mountain lion, etc)

I could go on and on and on. I have many ideas for my own mods, but don't have the time to make them all

My mods:

Summon Potion Station

Castle Tharnstein

I hope this gets the gears working,

I kept the altar script and have added the light beam, so it should only be useful on that one specific day, if that's what u mean. I got the altars of enchanting and spellmaking already. A lot of these are great ideas, but are still beyond my league as I am completely illiterate to scripts as of yet, but would like to learn. The summon potion station looks great and I'll try to merge mods enough to create a miniature version to place in my alcemy room. I am working now on your advice for display cases in addition to the empty shelves, but space is an absolute premium. The result (you might like this) is I am mounting display cases from the walls! You open them, put the object on the lid, and close them; the lid presses the object into the case.

Let me know what you think and everyone keep those ideas comming!
