Stanleyjf1985
I'm starting a housing mod where I would like to use custom meshes I've created in 3ds max 9 into skyrim. I've been following tutorials and have all the necessary programs, and I have successfully added basic objects like squares etc into skyrim by copying similar mesh data from nifskope, doing the whole copy and paste thing fine. I have an object that is more complex now that I would like to add, a basic watering pan I created from scratch. In nifskope it shows up great, no problems. I go into the creation kit and duplicated the item I'm to replace the mesh with with my custom mesh, boom creation kit goes into white screen of death and doesn't respond, just crashes when I try to replace the .nif in creation kit with my custom nif. Is there anything I can do to try to get custom meshes into the world better, or a tutorial I'm missing that I could use to help me out in this regard. I would greatly enjoy being able to make items in 3ds max and have as little hair pulling as possible to make it work in the creation kit. Thanks. Edit: I made sure there is no nimaterial property.Edit: Also a link to the .nif http://dl.dropbox.com/u/52523102/WaterPaleTest.nif Edited November 21, 2012 by Stanleyjf1985
