Floweramon
Is there a way to remove/disable NPCs from a mod? I wanted to remove some of the children in the Dragons Keep mod to make room for children from other mods, but I don't know how to safety do that. I know there are in-game console commands that can disable characters, but I have personal reasons for not wanting to do this during gameplay (long story short, I have headcanoned that any time I use console commands my character is praying to a personal deity to grant these things, and since the entire reason I have the Dragons Keep home is to give a home to kids in need, it feels out-of-character for my character to "pray" for the sudden disappearance of innocent children) They also have owned beds, so I'd have to remove ownership of the beds. Here's the mod for reference: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/
Floweramon
Alternatively, it might be nice to just replace the regular children with the children from the mods. But that is another thing I'm not sure how to do. Ideally I'd like to do it in a way that all the assets of the characters are in the Dragon's Keep mod and thus aren't reliant on me having the other mods in my Skyrim load order and taking up slots.
