It appears this is looking like the first mistake Obama will make since Clinton is a terrible choice for that position. In my opinion, she is a reactionary, which means that she will not be a useful adviser on foreign policy matters. (Dec 2007) Iran having a nuclear weapon is absolutely unacceptable. (Jun 2007) *Pakistan and China are worse than Iran and have nuclear weapons, it is unlikely that Iran's nuclear program started as a military project, and declaring the Revolutionary Guard a terror group is bad foreign policy move and is hypocritical considering the history of the CIA. China: Boycott Olympic ceremony to pressure China on Tibet & Sudan. (Apr 2008) *We should put pressure on China, but any boycotting of events such as the Olympics will do nothing Israel/Palestine: 2001 speech to AIPAC pledges money for Israeli military. (Nov 2007)Allegedly pro-PLO in 1960; but pro-Israel by 1981. (Jul 2007) *Unconditionally supporting Israel will only cause more violence. Cuba: Keep Cuban embargo; pay UN bills. (Oct 2000)Meet with Cuban leaders only after evidence of change. WoogieMonster Posted November 23, 2008 Share Posted November 23, 2008 Most people who are deep into tech and entertainment, as most gamers are, will probably disagree with Senator Clinton doing anything more important than styling her make-up. But if she simply must be doing something, then I'm glad this is the thing she's going to be doing. Why? Because it's a very hard, very demanding, very time-consuming job that will keep her out of the country a lot.But Woogie that's mean. Yes, yes it is mean (and you should know by now that I don't care), but you know what? It turns out that Senator Clinton is constitutionally not eligible for the job. Article 1 Section 6 says you can not occupy a post that you previously voted to give a pay raise, but this has happened before so who knows, she could take the pay cut.
