dubiousintent
This is in essence the same problem as discussed in the thread 'Loot keeps giving me the message: This plugin requires "FalloutNV.esm" to be active, but it is inactive', with the same solution: you need to read the Vortex documentation more carefully. For one thing: with Vortex you should not have mods installed in the "Data" folder, but instead in the "Mods" folder (or whatever they call it) and the ones you wish to include in your "load order" listed in your "player profile". -Dubious-
leejune5644
where is that mods folder ?????? sorry
dubiousintent
As I understand it (don't use it myself), speaking in very general terms, it's under the "Users\<YourAccountName>\Documents\My Games\<specific game>" folder though this can be changed. This Reddit Guide seems to be reasonably accurate. Just substitute "FalloutNV" or "Fallout New Vegas" for "Skyrim" where ever that name appears. -Dubious-
leejune5644
sigh. I tried everything man. I even redownloaded the mods and the game to D drive to it can be in the same drive. It used to work just fine with the old one but I just can't get vortex to work im given up man I just don't want to waste my time on this stupid f1ucking vortex mod manger thanks for the help though
dubiousintent
If you are fighting with your choice of mod manager, try another. The game doesn't care. I still use Wrye Flash and (occasionally FOMM-Forked) myself. (Links in the "General Mod Use Advice" article.) They work fine with FNV and are more "straightforward" in their approach. (Mod plugins are installed directly in the "Data" folder, so what you see there is what you get.) -Dubious-
