ashalba Posted February 7, 2020 Share Posted February 7, 2020 Can somebody tell me how come I always have stupid gaps/seams/tearing between my hand, feet, head, and body meshes? I use MAX to mod stuff. I have noticed sometimes when I load a NIF, the BSDismemberSkinModifier has the mesh vertices one way. But when I highlight the Editable mesh part, some vertices will shift slightly in their position!! Then I won't notice, do my mesh edits, and save out--only to find the seams remain. Why does this happen?? How cam I edit a NIF mesh and none of its vertices shift back to a slightly different position as it saves out of Max? PS: IT IS NOT me snapping hand vertices to the wrist, head to neck, etc, incorrectly. I think it is that Skin Wrap thing and the bones loaded, but not sure. Somebody please help me understand. I found this hoping it might help, and realized I HAD POSTED IT. No one ever responded either. I have to figure then you're all a bunch of shits who don't care, or you don't know.
