kingdark
I SOLVED THE PROBLEM ALREADY. LET THE TOPIC DIE. First things first, I have a LOT of mods active in the background. (is there a limit how many can be active? might be the answer to my problem already) anyway, so one of the mods I have active altered the perks to have lots more and to ignore the pre-requirements. Now, I wanted to upgrade my perks and all of the sudden all those extra choices were gone AND every value was down to five when it was around thirty before. I was like; wtf. I did an entire new game just because I stopped playing for a while and didn't remember what mods I had active. So I downloaded lots of mods and activated them. I have tried to keep mods inactive that appear to do the same things, but I fear I must have several mods active that change the same stuff, however wouldn't that result in a CTD or would it give symptoms like I just described? I realize I could use G.EM.S but I figure that this way is easier because I'm not entirely sure what mod did what I described and there are so many choices that it's a bit overwhelming. Right now I'm at level five, so if I HAD to do a new game it wouldn't be too bad... However, I'm starting to really dislike the initial dungeon to get the MQ moving. I suppose I could just ignore it, or move the quest via console but I'm not sure if I would get the first dragon word automatically or not. Last but not least, I have a question I'm sure is already suggested but I'm asking / suggesting it anyway. Is there a way to combine as many mods as possible? Realism mods, magic altering mods, game play mods and all the good stuff and make them compatible in a way that they don't conflict? It would be a lot of work, only if you can figure out if they can run together or not. Perhaps when you install it, and you activate option a & b option c & e go blank because they aren't compatible.... Would something like that work perhaps? I haven't crashed to desktop just yet, but the values in my skills menu do tend to... change around. Of course, like I said that might be because a mod goes active and the de-actives again or something.
