jonlaoshi
Hi,I am a complete newbie to PC gaming, let alone modding! Decided to switch to the PC for playing Fallout 3 largely because of the option of using true iron sights. I downloaded FOSE and ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated.bsa and then the RH_IronSights mod itself I am launching the game through the FOSE_Loader, with only the fallout.esm, RH_IRONSIGHTS.esm, RH_IronSights_Basic_VanillaPlugin.esp and RH_IronSights_RemoveReticle.esp plugins selected (in that load order). When I play through to the initial Vault Escape! quest, I've got the [gun oil] in my inventory, the blurred peripheral vision when aiming, the reticle removed, aiming drift (and the option to adjust it), and different skins for both the BB gun (grenade-launcher style flip-up sight) and the 10mm pistol (glowing blue/grey skin with glowing part underneath) - EVERYTHING except for the actual true iron sights aiming! When I aim (in FPS mode, always), it's still the same as in the vanilla version. As I said, I am complete newbie to PC gaming in general, so if someone could help talk me through the steps for getting this set up properly I would greatly appreciate it. I've listed a few more specifics below; I'm sure there are a lot of other technical details to take into account. Really looking forward to playing Fallout 3 the way it was intended! Thanks in advance for any guidance or advice.
