shadow85
I havent played this game yet because I am browsing all the mods so far, surprisingly alot. Just a question about the leveling system, is it the same as Oblivion where creatures level with you through out the game? If so is there any mod that changes this so enemies have a set level through out the game? so it can make areas very difficult and force the player to come back at better levels etc. kinda like Baldur's Gate. I remeber there was an Obscure Oblivion Overhaul that did something like this for oblivion, anything similar for FO3? cheers.

shadow85
Damm, well I am just about to start playing it, lol. Got another question, does it matter that in archiveinvalidation.txt, I have a few lines repeated more than once? Because I have several texture mods installed, even though they overwrite previous files with the same name?
KinkanTono
It does scale, but not as badly as Oblivion does. Unlike Oblivion were you can complete the main quest at level 1, you will need to level in Fallout 3. I finished the MQ at level 12(20 is max)
ComicKaze
The levelling system is better in that it's not ridicuous in having raiders (ie bandits) with power armor (ie glass armor, etc.) when you are levelled. It does this by adjusting the monsters you encounter. On higher levels you just encounter more deathclaws and things, etc.
