al10jake
Does anyone know how to change the purple effect of shock damage to Yellow instead using creation kit / nifskope? Would be eternally grateful :D
maxarturo
This can only be done by editing in NifSkope the "Art Object", and then add it to the game as a new "Art Object" that your spell's 'Magic Effect' will have and use.If it uses Art Object. Otherwise you will have to modify or create a new "Effect Shader" for it. Edited February 10, 2020 by maxarturo

maxarturo
The shock enchantment uses the Magic Effect "EnchShockDamageFFContact" which it uses the > Enchant Shader = EnchShockFXShader. In the "EnchShockFXShader" EffectShader property you will see a lot of parametrs and textures that influences the color of the enchantment, you will need to tweak each value. * But doing so it will be consider as a "Dirty Edit", unless is meant for personal use. If you intend in doing this a mod then the only thing you can do to avoid "Dirty Edits" is to replace the. - Fill Texture - Palette Texture - Texture - Palette Texture With your own recolored version. You will need to place them in the same folder directory with the same exact name. Unfortunately you won't see much of a difference in the color of the enchantment by just changing the textures, this needs to work along with changing all the other parameters too. I hope it helps...
