[REQ] Werewolf realism for skyrim

A werewolf will transform with the moon, he must hunt in order to satisfy his beast, and doing so is like an addiction: the more he hunts and feeds as a werewolf the stronger his inner beast becomes and the more it takes to satisfy.

 

The first step of that is perfectly covered by Tales of Lycanthropy. It even adds (optional) random chances to transform on lesser moon phases. Probably should disable the at will transformation entirely during a new moon.

 

The second step is the main thing I'm looking for. Werewolves MUST hunt. The best way I can think to accomplish this would be to disable waiting during the transformation until you feed and to cause some kind of penalty in human form if you do not feed. This could perhaps be balanced with a bonus in human form if you do feed. If possible, there could be a way to end the transformation early after feeding.

 

The last step is a new idea for me. Feeding the beast makes it stronger, both increasing your power as a werewolf (werewolf perks, possibly overhauled) but also causing you to lose yourself to the beast more. As you gain werewolf perks (or based on a separate feeding counter), the chance to lose yourself and transform on a lesser moon phase increases, and it also takes more feeding each night in order to placate the beast and transform back to human without penalty.

 

The mod should probably come with some moderate improvements to scaling as a werewolf, so feeding at higher level doesn't become too hard. In particular werewolves are known to be extremely resilient to non-silver weapons, so if it were possible to greatly increase their damage resistance to non-silver, non-magic forms of damage it would go a long way.

Actually Werewolfs should be 100% Resistant to Non-Silver Weapons and Magic. Everyone should know that Werewolfs can only be killed with Silver.

Agreed but I think 80-85% should be fine, especially since I'm not looking for a power mod, just an RP mod. Not even sure if it's possible to do in a way that would be compatible with weapon mods. Also, decapitation works in most fiction regardless of what the weapon is made of. Edited by sotanaht1

True. I forgot to Mention that Werewolves can only come out on a Full Moon, but with 2 Moons it would Increase the Chances because I don't think it matters how many Moons a Planet has just aslong as 1 of the Moons is Full. Also 2 Full Moons would Probably give the Werewolf Greater Powers. But that would be a Difficult Task.

Im basically running with the idea that the moons strengthen the beast within. When the moon is full, it is strong enough to overcome your will no matter how strong that is, otherwise you normally can keep it in check and don't normally transform (random chance=fail to keep it controlled), the at-will transformation is like deliberately giving in. During a new moon it may not even be strong enough to take over if you let it.

 

Mod request wise though the really, really important thing here is I want a mod that requires me to hunt and feed as a werewolf under a forced transformation. Everything else just enhances that core.

Especially if you're in a City when the Full Moon causes you to Transform while screaming citizens Alert Guards and Guards rushing at you with Swords Drawn and Arrows flying past your Head.

 

It would be Cool/Realistic if your Werewolf Character actually Howled at the Moon after Transforming alerting nearby NPCs and Creatures.
