TheSnazyBanana
Hello Nexus community. I've was wondering if any of you, staff or user, could help we with a problem I've been having with the Nexus Mod Manager in terms of Elder Scrolls V Skyrim. I'll just get strait to it and example the problem and whats gonna, I'm in a bit of a rush at the moment so I do apologize. So heres it in a nut shell... Awhile ago I decided to reorganize my mods for skyrim, a bit before then I noticed that I couldn't download any mods as well as updates for the manager. When trying to download a new mod to the manager I'd get the normal message in the "Download Manager" Tab at the bottom of the page saying that it was "Adding" and then whatever the IP address of the mod page was and after a few seconds it would change to "File does not exist:" and the IP address. When updating the Mod Manager, after pressing the option to download the latest version (0.33.1) a message comes up "ShellExecuteEx failed; code -1073741515." I'm currently in version 0.19.0 I've tried deleting and downloading the Mod Manager again but when I tried to the option was blocked of with a blue shield, administrator I think.....and when downloading the mod manager again I got the same message as above the "ShellExecuteEd" I've also had problems downloading other things, for example, when I was downloading Star Wars:The Old Republic sense it went free to play but I got the same weird message. So it might not be the Mod Manager but I have absolutely know idea so I don't know. So if and one out there could help me out or knows whats going on I would appreciate that greatly. asdgora
Seems like a problem with windows...Did you manually download the NMM version 0.33.1 ? if so, did you try right-clicking, then "run as administrator" ?

I'm still on version 0.19.0, and when I try running as administrator I get this "C:\Progarm Files\Nexus Mod Manager\NexusClient.exe" with "File system error (-1073741515)" right below it. Any idea what that means?
asdgora
1- Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow. 2- At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER: sfc /scannowThe sfc /scannow command scans all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833#method3
