wolfpack91
how do you edit it. im trying to make a new "super predator" race which is suposed to be a lot faster and stronger than the average human, mostly so i can hunt more effeciently by being able to out run deer. the only thing i cant figure out is how to make it faster than anything else. id like to make it really fast, running/walking id like it faster than most animals and also capable of possibly out running anything in the game while sprinting. steve40
Um, on the Actor's Form under the Stats tab. The parameter is called "Speed", it's right under the Skills list. You might also want to look at the "Move Data" tab on the Race form for acceleration rates.Oh, and then there's the "Movement Type" forms. You'll find them under "Character" in the list on the left side of the Objects Window. If you make a custom form you can specify additional walk/run/rotation speeds and stuff. Then you would assign this form to the "Base Movement Defaults" list on the "Move Data" tab of your custom Race form. You can assign a unique Movement Type form to walking/running/swimming/flying/sneaking and sprinting. Hope that helps. Lamproly
Hey hello,I try to modify the speed (running and walking speed) of mounts.Modifying the Speed under the "Stats"-Tab did slow them down, but caused them to jog trot instead of galloping, plus you can't modify walking and running speed differently.Modifying the Movement Types worked for the ones which already had a Movement Type assigned. However, it slows down the animation, so that it looks like running in slow-motion, a bit "sliding" over the floor (because timing and spacing doesn't really fit).Other mounts (also the normal vanilla horses) did not have any Movement Type assigned to their "Base Movement Defaults". Adding Movement types to them changed nothing. I wonder where they get their movement data from? o.OSo ... I have the feeling that I miss something important but cannot see, what. :sad:Greetings, Lydia Edited March 12, 2015 by Lamproly
