jddp
Hi I'm pretty new to the whole modding scene and I would like to know how you use armor mods. I download and installed this one here and followed the instructions, but don't know how to make it appear in my inventory. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/27336 Any help would be much appreciated. Jennifur68
Did you just get this mod or the required original? This is just a texture replacer for theRoadstrokers Rogue Sorceress Outfit...as such theres no mesh associated with it. If all you installed was the mod you linked to all you have are textures installed. Install theRoadstrokers Rogue Sorceress Outfit then reinstall the textures...according to the page description the outfit is in a barrel by the wooden bridge that leads to the saw mill...it shows you where it is in the images on the theRoadstrokers Rogue Sorceress Outfit page. ;) "NOTE: This mod is just a texture replacer, and only contains the textures! You still need the original mod here: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/21313" Edited November 24, 2012 by Jennifur68
bben46
Simplified Definitions: Texture is like a paint job that goes over the Mesh Mesh is the shape of an object. (any object) An object in the game needs both - a mesh without a texture may show up, but will always be a flat lavender color with none of the variations in shading. A texture without a mesh may be invisible - for instance if the missing texture is a shirt, when wearing the shirt, the torso part of the body that should be covered by that shirt will be missing - floating head, possibly floating hands, over a pair of pants. Looks strange too. You may also get a strange large red polygon symbol in place of the object showing that something is not present that is needed to show it properly. Always read the entire readme to find if something else is needed for that mod to work properly. How to get the object in game is usually covered also - Usually you will have to go somewhere, kill a creature or make the object in game to get it. Some armors are only available at higher levels or found as random loot when you kill certain NPCs or as the reward for a quest.
