Dr. Corbett
Why is it that enemies with the blight suddenly become überbeings, capable of wreaking far more destruction than any rational type of creature their type, yet when you are exposed to the slightest whiff of the stuff, you are immediately transformed into some sort of invalid? Oh, the cruelty!
MDH Weaponeer
I walk around as a level 2 character in the red mountains shooting a spell I made called "google" at people. If you think blights are annoying... Damn those crazy ash creatures. They don't get it do they?
The Truth
Perhaps the blight messes with the central nervous system. Kinda like PCP. You know when the body can no longer feel pain, it's quite capable of surpassing all it's built in failsafes and achieving new limits. With the monsters not longer able to feel their bodies going "Slow down! You're moving to fast!" or "Hold up a second! You're pushing yourself to hard!" they are able to move at increased rates and hit at higher levels of strength. Or at least...that's my theory. As for Humans.....the physiology is different, so when the CNS is messed up, to many of one type of chemical/hormone is released, causing cancerous type grows to appear and twist and distort the body. Again...just my theory. Hmmmm....maybe I should Mod a book explaining the diseases of Morrowind.... Nope. Wait. Can't. Friggin' game won't play on my PC. Maquissar
It's just that the game isn't fair. Diseases and blight diseases should make animalsmore aggressive, yes, but also weaker. And... another thought... how come no-one, man or animal, ever dies fromdiseases?
Xeniorn
And... another thought... how come no-one, man or animal, ever dies fromdiseases?Interesting... Looks like the guys in Bethesda haven't spent too much time thinking about diseases. But then the diseases would be too annoying, 'cause you'd have to lug hoards of potions with you, although you can always use Divine Intervention... Maybe there is a mod that does that. I kinda like the idea, maybe if I had more time... I think that the worst thing about diseases is the fact that if you catch Swamp Fever and wait a month, year, millenia, you will still have that same disease. That's kinda stupid. Faust870
Or maybe they did think of diseases... It's awhole new world, nothing like ours... there are giant mushrooms for crying outloud... maybe a disease's purpose in morrowind is to enhance/decrease attributes... Unlike our diseases... which normally make one ill or may even kill someone. Its a whole different world, so its hard to compare earth, and Morrowind...
