More Laser and Plasma Weapons

What I would like to see is more laser and plasma type weapons in the game. Like weapons from the stargate series, especially Ronon's gun, that gun is just plain awesome. The last thing we need is more regular bullet firing weapons, we see enough of those in every game out there. And lets face it, some of the weapons especially the laser weapons in Fallout 3 look pretty awful, they have a horrible design. If any new weapons are to be added they need to look the part too.
