kingdark
I have 170 mods running. That's a lot don't you think? Well I agree. In fact, the number is so high because there are so many interesting mods out there that I want to try them all. Except for one little snag. a) Having several mods that do similar things HAS to crash the game sooner or later.b) Having several magic mods and mods that change perks will make trouble one time or another.c) The same is true for just about any other mod that changes similar things. So I figure, isn't there a way to combine these mods, and then customize the installation so that it tells you what each option does in more detail? It could tell that that this or that mod cannot be active at the same time. Or, that this or that mod can run but that there is a high, middle or low chance of it giving troubles later in game. Also, I like a lot of the realism mods, but not TOO much y'know. That one mod that includes calories and all that stuff is too complicated for my tastes. I prefer it to be a bit simplified on that front. Hungry? Eat.Tired? Sleep.Thirsty? Drink.Sick? Rest & use that one potion that I can't recall the name off.Cold? Create a campfire, warm up and get some sleep. You get the idea. So is this possible? There is of course the issue of choosing what mods to combine. And the additional issue that some mod authors might not want this to happen.... Although I'm not entirely sure why they would be against it since the only thing it would do, would be minimal changes so that the various mods don't conflict. Anyway; I took another long look at the mods I have active and I can either uninstall all of them and then reactivate as few as possible with the mods I really want active. Except that some mods need to be put in a certain order and that makes it even more complicated. URGH Thoughts? Kingdark edit: A moment after creating the topic, I figured I might as well mention a number of mods I think should be combined. i'm not going to be mentioning specific mod names though; THAT would be really time consuming. More and realistic wild life modrealistic harvesting modAll the realism mods combinedAll the mods that add, modify weapons, armour and all that stuffthe mods that change races, and do a few thingsthe magic scaling; This is a MUST HAVE. Including all the perk editions. And there are so many more mods that can be active but have chances of conflict.
