antstubell
Is there a way to stop rain under cover, in this case a tunnel?
Vactrol
Maybe an occlusion plane placed on top of the cover? I made a shack with a "sandwich" roof, two roofs with the plane in the middle, as seeing the two side was necessary. Cheers
maxarturo
Occlusion planes do work, but only if the FX is not a 'Camera Attach FX' like snow or others, in this case the only thing you can do is to. 1) Either make your tunnel a separate interior cell. 2) Make that entire region an interior cell. There are a lot of issues working with an exterior cell (world space), If you intend on doing a realistic environment in this game engine either if it is SSE or SLE, mainly lighting and others. The only way to achieve this is to do everything in an interior cell where you have absolutely control of everything, but this will require at least 5 times more work to create the same mass of landscape as an exterior cell, and a good knowledge of all the tools given to overcome things that are not supposed to be able to be done in an interior cell. * Not been able to achieve a realistic Lighting / shadows fluctuation and camera attach fx was the main reason i had to move everything into an interior cell, this cost me 6+ month more work for just 3 cells that they were already finished. * Haven't you wonder why in the entire game there isn't a single long tunnel or a big covered space or a dungeon connected to the exterior worldspace without load doors. antstubell
Well... that sucks. My tunnel will be EXTREMELY leaky.
Evangela
Could place a trigger around the tunnel and place a script on it to stop the weather, and then bring said weather back when they get out of the tunnel.
