how to update oblivion

hello

 

i just got TESO IV 5th anniversary edition including all DLC (dvd rom) how would i go about updating the game to lastest version patches etc

 

if i add the game to steam can i update through steam? because that is so much simpler for a newish pc gamer like me!

if not what procedure do i go through because the mods require latest versions, please include as much detail as possible :thumbsup:

p.s

if i was to purchase the steam version (its on sale) does that update everything automatically? because then i can return the dvd rom version and purchase via steam

Here is a link to all the patches, though the 5th anniversary edition is most likely up to date on purchase.
