rycka
I recently started playing Oblivion... again... And since I NEVER played Oblivion as an Archer, I decided to give it a go. And I realized very fast, why I never played Oblivion as archer. It's most challenging and most out of balance class IMHO. So I started modding and tweaking and ended up "skyrimizing" archery in Oblivion (a bit at least). Stealth Archer in Skyrim is easily my favourite character build. If you interested in playing in Oblivion as pure stealth archer, I could share my mod. It tweaks a lot of things and I modded permanent chameleon effect of Ring of Khajit to be only active while sneaking and level up with your sneak skill, so you won't need to waste other gear on chameleon enchantments. Even though I play in FP, permanent chameleon effect annoyed the s#*! out of me and it breaks immersion. Other tweaks are mostly for physics of archery, and archery related stuff, like arrow weigth, arrow recovery, bow base damage, Sneak attack multiplier. And I HAD to tweak level up system.. I have hundreds of different gameplay hours and there are still gameplays where I simple didn't manage to master some of the major skills. Since there are bunch of exploits, which I used (and wasted time) anyway. I decided to reasonably increase leveling rate of some skill, not only archery related. However, during my gameplay I'm not overpowered (I would even say underpowered at default difficulty setting) but I'm having fun. I still cannot sneak one shot kill most of the enemies like I could in skyrim, but I'm having as much fun now in Oblivion as archer, as I had in Skyrim...
